Blueberry Bushes! and the next season

The Hartland Farmers Market is being worked on in preparation for the new season in 2011.  A new set of evenings and a music schedule is being put together.  The first event will be Farm Fest 2011 which will be Sunday May 29, from 11am to 3 pm, and then regular markets will start after that.  For further information please contact Sharon Irwin  at  hartlandfarmersmarket@gmail.com

There are also blueberry bushes for sale!  This is an effort that also involves the Garden Club, in an effort to promote permaculture around town.  They planted 350 daffodil bulbs at the library last October 21, 2010, in concert with many other groups around the globe who are concerned about our environment, and the blueberry bushes are planned as the first of many offerings to promote landscapes that are easy to care for and also useful.  You can place an order if you wish to buy many plants, or single plants will be for sale at the Garden Club's booth at Farm Fest, and also at the Farmers Market.  For more information please contact Carol Stedman at    carolstedman@comcast.net
